International call supporting innovative climate-finance mechanisms designed to attract private investment into climate solutions in emerging economies.
The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance is accepting ideas for its 2027 programme. Applicants may include entrepreneurs, startups, financial institutions, investment managers, civil-society organisations and teams developing innovative financing mechanisms for climate mitigation and adaptation in emerging markets. Namibia-focused concepts may qualify under the Africa programme. Selected teams receive technical assistance, financial structuring support, investor engagement and help developing their proposed financial instruments. This opportunity does not provide a guaranteed direct cash grant. Preliminary applications close on 18 October 2026 at 23:59 Pacific Time.
