About this opportunity
Financial assistance for people who would otherwise struggle to afford travel, accommodation and other costs associated with attending PyCon Namibia 2027.
PyCon Namibia is accepting applications for Opportunity Grants for its 2027 conference. The grants are intended to make the conference accessible to people who would otherwise struggle to afford attendance. Support may contribute toward travel to Windhoek, accommodation, conference registration and other approved expenses. Applicants must explain their financial circumstances, how attending PyCon Namibia would benefit them and the support they require. Grants generally operate on a reimbursement basis, meaning approved recipients may need to pay expenses first and submit receipts after attending. PyCon Namibia 2027 takes place from 26 February to 4 March 2027 at NIPAM in Windhoek. Grant applications close on 21 October 2026.
